A North Carolina man is attempting to cross the Atlantic Ocean in a rubber boat held aloft by more than 350 helium balloons. Jonathan Trappe took to the air from Caribou, Maine this morning. Before launching, Trappe told London's "Daily Mail" he's relying on favorable weather to help him make the 2500 mile journey. The 39-year-old daredevil hopes to complete the crossing in six days. Three years ago he became the first person to fly over the Alps and the English Channel using a similar setup.
